The special feature of this super stretch needle is a wide eye and a wider thread groove, which means that you can also sew thicker threads. The special design of the groove and eye prevents skipped stitches and the middle ball point prevents holes. It is suitable for elastic or highly elastic knitwear, T-shirt fabric, Lycra, silk jersey, corduroy, fine jersey, silk jersey, single jersey and cotton knitwear.

When it comes to the question of needle thickness, there is a very simple rule of thumb that you can follow: the thickness of the needle should match the thickness of the fabric. Thin fabrics such as Lycra or delicate knits are sewn with a 70 or 80 needle. Thicker fabrics such as knits are sewn with a 90 needle.
