We tested the cut and fabric for you in advance and matched the materials perfectly. So that you can have a clear conscience, we pay attention to sustainability in all of our sewing kits!

Certified cotton muslin, matching organic sewing thread and a sustainable button - that's the casual, lively CANTIK dress. The material set also includes some elastic for the loop for the button and iron-on interfacing to stabilize the facing.

The amount of material included is sufficient for the sizes specified. You can use the package to sew the dress version in one piece with sleeve ruffles, or the version with an attached skirt part.

Environmentally friendly and high quality

The special thing about the Nähfrosch sewing kits is that we use materials that are as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible. That's why you'll only find carefully selected, high-quality materials in our sewing kits that you'll enjoy for a long time. The fabrics are certified, the sewing thread is organic. You can find the exact details about the materials in this sewing kit below!

We think the processes through to the end: we also care about the environment when it comes to packaging. You receive a recyclable shipping box that is already made of 70% recycled material. We pay attention to small package sizes so that transport is as resource-efficient as possible. Instead of wrapping your fabric in tissue paper or even plastic, we wrap it in a layer of 100% recycled, environmentally friendly wrapping paper. We do not use stickers as these can impair recyclability. Our environmentally friendly parcel tape is made from uncoated kraft paper and the adhesive is made from natural rubber. This means it can be recycled with the shipping box.

• Muslin according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100

Of course, only high-quality muslin, certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, was considered for our sewing kit. This soft muslin made of pure cotton with golden dots is an absolute favorite fabric, especially in summer, for airy clothing for young and old. But it also looks good in the cold season, as a long-sleeved blouse or dress, or simply as a large triangular scarf around the neck! This cotton muslin is double-layered and connected at certain points. It is also known as double gauze or gauze! The crinkle effect is typical of muslin and makes it particularly interesting for those who don't like ironing. It feels wonderfully soft and the golden dots give this fabric that certain something extra.

• Fleece line G405 according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100

This fabric interlining for ironing onto light to medium-weight woven fabrics is dimensionally stable and has a soft, pleasant feel. It is suitable for stabilizing small parts on blouses and shirts, for example collars, pockets or flaps. The interlining, like all interlinings from Vlieseline, is always cut lengthways and follows the grain of the fabric. Then place the Vlieseline with the coated side facing down on the wrong side of the fabric and cover with a slightly damp cloth. Iron with a normal iron (2-3 points) for around 12 seconds. Press the iron on step by step, do not push. Allow to cool well, approx. 30 minutes or longer, so that the adhesion can stabilize.

• Organic sewing thread

Conscious sewing also includes the sewing thread! The 100% organic sewing thread contributes to protecting our environment. All production processes of the Scanfil Organic Cotton cotton yarn follow the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) guidelines. No toxic chemicals are used in the cultivation of the organic cotton. Natural insecticides protect plants, the environment and ultimately people. The spools are made of environmentally friendly wood. The sewing thread is durable and has excellent sewing properties.

Buttons enhance sewing creations with subtle color accents and perfectly coordinated. These classic buttons are matte, 15 mm in diameter and have two holes. The buttons from Atelier Brunette are made in France and are Oeko-Tex certified. They are perfect for blouses, dresses and pajamas, for example.

• Soft hat elasticHigh-quality, very soft hat elastic from Veno with a width of 2 mm. Universally applicable, for example as a loop for buttons.
