The name BAWAH

The name BAWAH is Indonesian and means "underneath", which is what these beautiful boxer shorts are actually intended for - although the trunks are far too beautiful to hide!

And where does the connection to Indonesia come from? Katja is married to a half-Indonesian and has found a second home in the Southeast Asian country, where the whole family travels as often as possible.

Fabric recommendation:

Jersey is best suited for the BAWAH boxer shorts because it is elastic in all directions, i.e. bi-elastic. High-quality materials such as cotton jersey, jersey made from Tencel/Lyoncell, cotton-bamboo blends or even merino wool jersey are ideal. In addition to cotton jersey, jersey fabrics made from other fibers such as silk or viscose are also suitable.

Fabric consumption:

For the BAWAH boxer shorts you need the following amounts of fabric (based on  140 cm fabric width plus seam allowances and buffer):

• size 92 - 104 = 25 cm

• size 110 - 122 = 30 cm

• size 128 - 164 = 35 cm

You will also need 60 cm (sizes 92 - 116) or 80 cm (sizes 122 - 164) of elastic in the desired width for attaching or elastic (3 cm wide) for pulling in.
