The corozo is the seed of the ivory palm, also known as tagua. This type of palm only grows wild in the rainforests of Central America, particularly Ecuador. When dried, the corozo is so hard that it is also called "vegetable ivory". The corozo palm cannot be cultivated and only grows in clean environments. This is why the corozo is a great natural product that helps protect the tropical rainforest. Thousands of rainforest dwellers live from the harvest of the noble corozo and the deforestation of our green lungs is thus avoided. The corozo is the seed kernel of the ivory palm. The palm itself does not have to be felled for harvesting. This is why the corozo is a sustainable and ecologically safe raw material, and the product is even biodegradable at the end of its life cycle.
Buttons are more than just fasteners, they give the sewing piece character, serve as decoration or ornamental element. Buttons are the "finishing touch" to the self-sewn or knitted item, whether it is a bag, purse or piece of clothing. Of course, you can not only sew on buttons, you can also use them for crafting and designing.
