Sewing individual school cones
How about if your little ABC student makes the transition from kindergarten to school with a self-sewn fabric school cone? You can easily sew a llama school cone out of plush fabric using this free pattern with step-by-step instructions! The advantage of a sewn school cone is that the fabric school cone can be easily stuffed afterwards and can be used as a cuddly cushion for a long time to come! Not in the mood for llamas? You can also sew the school cone out of woven fabric and without a llama face.
The cut is suitable for a 70 cm high round school cone blank.
The pattern for the llama school cone contains the “body” with an insert made of shaggy plush, the pattern for the ears and a template for the face.
The instructions are richly illustrated and take you through the process step by step. No complicated techniques are required.
In the instructions you will also find many practical tips on how to work with plush and shaggy fabrics! (So that it doesn't look like a llama exploded in front of the sewing machine.)
Sew your own school cone, even as a beginner
