The scarf can be sewn as a loop scarf, which is worn wrapped twice around the neck, or as a tight slip-on scarf, e.g. for children. The loop to wrap around can basically be sewn from all types of fabric, the slip-on scarf only from stretchy fabrics such as jersey, sweat, summer sweat, knit, viscose jersey or modal. A loop is the perfect project for beginners, as it only consists of straight seams. A turning opening is also left in a very convenient and later completely inconspicuous place and closed after turning.
