Shirt or blouse, anything is possible with this versatile classic! TULEN is a children's shirt in a classic style. The cut is impressive with a button placket and breast pocket at the front, a back yoke and a comfortable pleat at the back. We bet your little one will make a great impression with it? Whether it's smart or casual, the look you want the TULEN shirt to have is up to you, because the fabric is what makes the difference! Woven fabrics such as classic cotton fabric are just as suitable as a beautiful, cozy flannel with a check pattern, muslin, linen or shirt jeans. The TULEN shirt also has two hem options - a straight line and a rounded line. Whatever your taste!

TULEN is admittedly a bit of a challenge, but we will master it together. We have put together a great step-by-step guide for you that explains every trick. Of course, it would be an advantage if you have sewn one or two pieces before - but it is not a requirement.

The name TULEN

What kind of strange name is that? TULEN is Indonesian and means "real". Why does the name fit so well? Well, take a look. Really cool, this shirt cut, isn't it ?

Fabric recommendation:

Classic cotton shirt fabrics are ideal for the TULEN shirt. Poplin, cretonne, bunting, shirt checks, fine corduroy, linen (mix), light twill. These are also great to work with. Soft flannel, trendy light denim fabric (chambray) or checks - you will love this shirt. For girls, blouse fabrics such as muslin, voile, batiste, viscose woven fabric also look great!

For the TULEN shirt, you will of course need different amounts of fabric depending on the variant. Here are some key figures for orientation (based on 140 cm fabric width plus seam allowances and buffer):

• size 92 - 110 = 1 m
• size 116 - 134 = 1.20 m
• size 140 - 152 = 1.30 m
• size 158 - 164 = 1.50 m
