The name SIAP

The SIAP knotted headband has an Indonesian name. SIAP means "ready". Because when you put it on, regardless of whether you have a bad hair day or not, you are simply styled and ready for selfies. ;)

Fabric recommendation:

Basically any fabric is suitable for the knotted headband - even scraps of fabric. Woven fabrics, stretchy materials, velvet, satin, jeans, flannel, sequined or blouse fabrics. Maybe even an old scarf?

Tip: You can also decorate your headband with sew-on pearls or glitter stones.

You will also need glue and a headband blank. The pattern is suitable for adult-sized headbands with a width of 2 - 3 cm. There are "naked" headbands made of plastic, or "padded" and covered in satin. Which one you choose is a matter of taste, but it affects which glue holds. In the instructions I give you recommendations on which headband blanks are suitable.
