Sewing your own utensil holder
If the chaos in the children's room, on the changing table, in the bathroom or on your sewing table annoys you, then it urgently needs to be brought into order. It's a good thing that you can sew an organization system in no time with a utensil holder.
Whether you store towels, make-up, toy cars, diapers, scissors or Pixi books in your utensil holder - you can keep everything in order in no time. You can sew the RAPI utensil holder very easily, or with an additional pocket in which flat things can be put. And if one utensil holder isn't enough, you can sew lots more great ones in different sizes. We hope you have fun with it.
Sew a storage solution, even as a beginner!
It is quite easy to sew a utensil holder. If you are just starting out with sewing and are not yet confident about taking on large projects, this utensil holder is a good place to start. It is not particularly tricky - and then you can start sewing.
The name RAPI
RAPI is Indonesian and means tidy. And that's exactly why we sew ourselves a utensil holder to bring order to the family chaos.
material
Depending on the variant, you will need different materials. This is of course explained in more detail in the instructions.
- Two different, non-stretch fabrics (e.g. woven fabric, canvas, cork fabric, Snappap, oilcloth, jeans, corduroy etc.) approx. 40 cm long at full fabric width.
- Optional: If you are sewing with a pocket, you will need another fabric - this can stand out visually.
- Optional: For very thin cotton fabrics you need interlining (H240) or volume fleece (H640) to reinforce
