Summery top or dress with many variations

Be careful, the BULU top could jump off the needle on a continuous basis. In the basic version, the spaghetti strap top, which is made of woven fabric, impresses with its simplicity: fashionable figure-hugging width, beautiful V-neck at the front and back, slight A-line, with facing and, depending on requirements, with or without bust darts. And then there are great variants: the smart option with attached ruffle part, the simply extended version as an A-line dress and a stunning maxi dress that is an absolute eye-catcher with its ruffle layers. Of course, you can vary the look depending on the fabric you choose - a floral viscose pattern works just as well as a classy satin sheen. The fabric should of course be slightly flowing. And if that's not enough variation for you, you can add a visual touch with details such as lace trims or belts. Have fun varying it! The name BULU

At Nähfrosch, the name says it all - and this top is no exception. BULU is Indonesian and means feather. You'll feel so light in your new favorite outfit! Bet you?

Fabric recommendation:

We recommend light, soft and airy woven fabrics - naturally made of cotton or (viscose) linen or cotton blends or polyester fabrics. The classics include viscose, silk, satin, batiste or chiffon. But muslin, flannel or scuba are also suitable materials.

For the BULU top and especially the dress version, you need different amounts of fabric. Here are some guidelines (based on 140 cm fabric width plus seam allowances and buffer):

basic version Top

• size 34 - 38 = 85 cm
• size 40 - 44 = 90 cm
• size 46 - 56 = 150 cm

top with attached ruffle

• size 34 - 38 = 110 cm
• size 40 - 44 = 120 cm
• size 46 - 50 = 130 cm
• size 52 - 56 = 155 cm

Simple knee-length dress

• size 34 - 38 = 135 cm
• size 40 - 44 = 140 cm
• size 46 - 56 = 200 cm

maxi tiered dress

• size 34 - 38 = 220 cm
• size 40 - 44 = 260 cm
• size 46 - 50 = 410 cm
• size 52 - 56 = 435 cm

You can also calculate the dress versions yourself, because the amount of fabric needed naturally depends on the desired length of the dress.
