Perfect for anyone who likes to wear skirts and still wants to be active! CERGAS is a quickly sewn skirt with integrated shorts, also known as a skort, tennis skirt or culottes. This practical combination is really suitable for everyday use, because whether you're cycling, getting in and out of the car or having a picnic - unwanted panty flashes are prevented by the sewn-in shorts of this activewear skirt. So you can wear a short skirt and still move freely and uninhibitedly. CERGAS offers a short skirt in a light A-line with integrated short leggings that are designed for stretchy fabrics. Of course, the skirt and shorts can also be sewn separately. You can choose between cuffs or jersey waistbands, with or without decorative cord. CERGAS also comes with practical seam pockets.

CERGAS is an absolute basic pattern that no closet should be without. This versatile skirt is so quick to sew that you'll be making a few in no time! Whether with or without integrated shorts, with or without seam pockets - a summer without the practical CERGAS skort is possible but pointless. ;)

Sewing a practical skirt - even as a sewing beginner

The CERGAS pattern is so easy and quick to sew that it's addictive! Even the integrated pockets and eyelets are child's play with our step-by-step instructions.

Fabric recommendation:

For the CERGAS skirt and shorts, we recommend stretchy fabrics and ideally not too thin materials. For example, jersey, lycra, sweat, French terry or jacquard. The skirt can also be made of light woven fabric such as muslin. It is important to note that the cuffs and pants must be made of an elastic material.

For the CERGAS pattern you need (based on 140 cm fabric width plus seam allowances and buffer):

• size 34 - 38 = 1.30 m
• size 40 - 44 = 1.35 m
• size 46 - 50 = 1.70 m
• size 52 - 56 = 2.30 m

Of course, you can also mix two substances, so here are the individual details:

The quantities mentioned above are the maximum fabric consumption. If you cleverly slide the pattern pieces together when cutting, you can of course save some fabric.
