Cool baby sweat jacket with or without hood

Somehow everyone looks casual in a sweatshirt jacket, but the little ones are unbeatably cool in it! Especially when this favorite piece comes with such impressive details as in this KRIM cut. Sporty raglan seams, hood with center stripe, patch kangaroo pocket, practical zipper with chin protection and hem and sleeve cuffs. You can't get more clever features than this, can you? As an alternative to the hood, you can also quickly sew on a neck cuff.

The name KRIM

We are particularly proud of this name because it suits this unbeatable favorite piece so well. KRIM is Indonesian and means "cream". This sweat jacket is simply the icing on the cake. ;)

Sewing a sweat jacket, even as a somewhat experienced beginner

The KRIM sweat jacket is actually not rocket science. And especially not in baby sizes. But since sewing in the zipper is a bit tricky, we have rated the difficulty as "medium". But of course that doesn't mean that beginners can't try it. Because with our step-by-step instructions, you're guaranteed to get through it.

The e-book takes you step by step with lots of pictures, making cutting and sewing child's play. The e-book also contains a small basic section in which common terms and sewing vocabulary are briefly explained. Printing and gluing the pattern together is also explained in detail!

Fabric recommendation:

Classic sweat, French terry, jersey, velour, jacquard or even elastic corduroy are suitable for the KRIM baby sweat jacket. You can either sew the waistband and the sleeve hems from the same fabric as the jacket, provided it is a little stretchy, or we recommend cuff fabric.

For the KRIM baby sweat jacket you need the following amounts of fabric (based on 140 cm fabric width plus seam allowances and buffer):

size 56 - 74 = 80 cm
size 80 - 98 = 90 cm
