How to Sew a Simple Baby Scarf

fabric recommendation and consumption

Basically any fabric is suitable for the baby scarf - even scraps of fabric are fine. A size of 30 x 60 cm is enough for the small size, as the scarf is available in two sizes and sewing options (simply finished or stitched) and can be either double knotted or closed with a snap fastener. Anything goes, jersey, velour, terry cloth, muslin or woven fabric. It is important that the fabrics are soft so that the baby scarf can be easily placed or tied around the neck.

Personal tip: My favorite option is to simply tie it with a knot and close it with a snap fastener. Then your child won't have a big knot on their neck and the scarf will stay in place in any case! Just give it a try!
